Confidence at the boundaries.

A runnable Python test framework for API, payment and simulated mobile flows.

My contribution
Automation framework, test design, reporting and CI configuration
Built with
Python / Pytest / API testing / GitHub Actions

The problem

Show how an automation framework checks both a user journey and the backend behavior behind it, including the cases where payment should fail.

The build

Separate page objects, API clients, test data and reporting. Exercise a real in-process backend with deterministic state, then connect the checks to a repeatable CI command.

The result

24 checks passed in a local run on 3 October 2026. The downloadable project includes the source, tests, setup instructions and GitHub Actions configuration.

Inspect the work

transaction = api_client.get_transaction(transaction_id)

assert transaction["status"] == "paid"
assert transaction["payment_method"] == "wallet"
assert transaction["amount"] == 39.99
assert transaction["currency"] == "AED"

Excerpt from the wallet checkout test.

The API backend and Pytest execution are real. Mobile interactions use a simulated driver; this is not a test run on an Android or iOS device.
